TOI NGAKAU - art from the heart
All of our art comes from our hearts, each piece is crafted with love, peace, and harmony. We carve NZ Pounamu and sometimes have the opportunity to work with Jade from Australia and China, however, we prefer NZ Aeotoroa stone. We carve bone, both contemporary and Maori designs. NZ native wood with hand-carved designs for our cell phone holders and book stands with small pieces of Pounamu for the rests. Oamaru Stone carving, and acrylic painting on canvas.

We have both come from backgrounds of anger, fear, hurt, and restrictions in our lives, we have both suffered from physical and mental health issues, and our environments blocked us from within.
Over the years we have believed in new beginnings as well as learning to love ourselves and others. Now we have healed, loved, and are all about reconnecting with our passion, creativity, and sharing love, peace, and harmony with everyone in our life.
